2011 First Tech Challenge Robot

The design of this robot was designed to collect racket balls at a large volume

Versitle grippers allow the robot to pick up a crate in almost any orientation


Smart sensors automatically turn on the belt when a ball is present and feed it into the basket. Well designed bumpers push balls from below the half-way mark and push it out of the way without the robot riding over the ball.
